Lauren Lucente is a New York based film composer who, has notably scored the short film, “Ruben’s Choice,” which was written, produced and directed by Hanspeter Ammann. Lauren has also collaborated on a number of scores and had the privilege of working with Milica Paranosic for Milica’s film festival. In 2018 she participated in the NYU Film Scoring Workshop. Lauren’s concert works have been performed locally by some of New York’s best colleges (Five Towns College, Nassau Community College) as well as several public concerts on Long Island and New York City (New York Brass Choir at the Clark Botanic Garden, Metadata String Quartet at the Addamovie Film Festival). Recently, her works have been performed and recorded by the Budapest Scoring Company. Lauren holds a M.F.A. in composition from Five Towns College and a M.M. in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music. When Lauren isn't writing compositions, she can be found curled up on her couch, thinking up her next greatest prank against her relatives, who are less fond of her sense of humor than she is.
